Great Lakes Cougar Club

It is the purpose of the Great Lakes Cougar Club to promote the Mercury Cougar from 1967 to present. Our intention is to have a club that families can enjoy and participate in.

Welcome to the newly launched Great Lakes Cougar Club Web Site ! This new site will add much more functionality and interactivity with the additional of news feeds to keep you informed on the latest happenings in the automotive industry as it relates to ford / mercury as well as current cars and parts for sale from various sources. We'll have polls, the ability to add comments on stories and pictures we've posted, the ability for users to post and upload stories and pictures of their own, have discussion forums and much much more. I am truly excited and look forward to the upcoming year of shows, swap meets and cruise nights. The classic car industry is as strong as ever and there are endless sources of parts, services and documentation available to help you get whatever you need to make this passion of ours as enjoyable as possible. I remember when Shade Tree Mechanic on TNN was only automotive show on TV. Now we have 24 7 Speed TV with new shows hitting the air waves at a record pace. With spring right around the corner, now is the time to start thinking about what your classic needs to hit the road running strong or look it's best as you make heads turn while cruising through town.
